Cape Breton Fiddlers Run Learn To Run Program Kicks Off

The Cape Breton Fiddlers Run, Learn to Run program will be kicking off on Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at the YMCA of Cape Breton in Sydney. 

The Cape Breton Fiddlers Youth Run is kicking off our 3rd annual campaign to encourage youth to once again "Earn Your Laces".

In preparation for the Youth Run in June, students across Cape Breton participate in the Kids' Run Club in their schools.  Children in the program will be encouraged to set targets for various distances between now and June to earn a pair of gold shoe laces.  They will then be encouraged to wear their new laces to the Youth Run, sponsored by Doctors Nova Scotia, on Saturday, June 1, 2013.

Mark your calendars, the Cape Breton Fiddlers Run Committee is pleased to announce our new race date for 2013 will be October 20, 2013!  Lots of great plans are currently in the works for an unforgettable celtic race experience you won't want to miss.
